The project involved a single-story facility built out in a previously shelled space above the newly constructed emergency department addition.
The new facility includes twenty-two (22) new, single occupant, in-patient beds. Each room was equipped with bariatric lift systems and hook ups for dialysis. The new space also includes isolation rooms and rooms for containment of infectious disease with ante rooms and required air pressure relationship indicators.
